When I received the invitation, I was worried. I would have to write

and record music for the launching of the Negreiros wine, from Quinta das Amendoeiras. My brother suggested not only the bucolic and spiritual side of the wine, but also its production, without excluding the noises of the machines. Everything should be there. Slowly I realised there was only one way out: it was necessary to work in loco; so I went to the farm. I wrote the vocal composition through the night in the old kitchen by the crackling of the fire. The recording, by Vocal Ensemble, took place at the winery; the noise was captured everywhere.
