Produced under the supervision of the eonologist João Brito e Cunha, Negreiros Reserve 2007 is done just with Touriga Nacional and aged 10 months in French oak barrels.
It received the Gold Medal in the World Contest of Brussels.
The reviewer Diogo Rodrigues described it as follows:
Dark and profound color, typical from a Touriga Nacional
from Douro region. Aroma with nice floral notes, fruits (currants and blueberries) some pine nuts and ripe plums. Intense and very harmonious, it is very aromatic. The palate does not disappoint. Black fruit, notes of mint
to leave some freshness in the mouth, pine nuts and plum notes. Soft and well balanced wood.
Some complexity, good body and good style.
Very genuine and consistent.
Wine with Gold medal in Brussels.
Note: 92/100
